Information models for plant engineering –

from planning to operation

News from the Werk 4.0 project

The aim of the Werk 4.0 project is to develop a resilient engineering and production concept for plant construction, thereby making production processes more resilient and flexible. The first step towards this goal is the systematic recording of all models involved in the development process and in operation, their sources and the information obtained from them.

A comprehensive ontology has been created in close collaboration with numerous experts from various fields. This ontology structures and stores all relevant information and relationships of the engineering and production models and serves as a central knowledge repository.

We are now making this valuable resource available for download. By making it publicly available, we aim to promote collaboration and drive innovation in the integrated engineering of plants.
